What is a farmer khata in APMC mandi operations?
Farmer Khata (also called Kisan Bahi or Farmer Ledger) is the running account of a farmer's transactions with the commission agent (arthiya). It records all lots brought to the mandi, sales proceeds, advances given before harvest, deductions for inputs like seeds and fertilizer, and the final net amount payable. MandiGrow replaces paper khata books with a digital ledger that is automatically updated on every transaction.
How does MandiGrow handle advance payments (Tagai) to farmers?
When you give an advance to a farmer, record it in MandiGrow against the farmer's Khata with the date and amount.
